Gara (Tie and Dye)

Tie and dye attires are very common is Sierra Leone.  So when I received this royal purple and white one from a friend, I couldn't wait for the appropriate occasion to wear it to.

Then I got invited to a wedding, and I thought to myself, this is it, purple tie and dye is coming out today.  After a year in my suitcase, am pretty sure this dress was feeling completely sorry for itself.

Worn with my chunky necklace, black purse and lilac sandals.
