Shout Out to the Creoles of Sierra Leone - Print

Hi there, thanks for popping over, and trust me you couldn't have chosen a better day to visit. It's all about us today, the Creoles.

This outfit known as the Print, is the traditional attire of the Creole people of Sierra Leone, the ethic group that I am from.  Our people say if you don't know where you are going, know where you come from.  So today, I am showcasing the print dress which I got from my mother-in-law three years ago, as a big shout out to my ancestors.  This dress is normally worn with a special hand made beaded shoes known as canvas.  Since, I do not own one and can't see myself owning one anytime soon, I decided to wear it with my sandals from Wittner, my black and red purse (birthday gift) and wooden drop earrings and bangles.

This week I will be linking up with what i wore and visible monday, so please go over and check out some other amazing bloggers.  You never know, you might get an idea or two from them.
