Food and Style with an African Twist

White Cotton Lace Shirt, Jacquard Pants and Pale Blue Sandals

In as much as I love cooking, I get so excited (like a kid in a lolly shop) when I do a style post. I bought this shirt four years ago from witchery and although it wasn't what I had in mind on that day, it has become one of my favourite tops. Have you ever bought an item that ends up becoming a favourite?

Recently I bought the necklace from lovisa and voila, talk about an accessory tying an outfit together. I was pretty chuffed when I checked myself in the mirror.  So, what else should a girl do after that? You guessed it, drag the husband, kicking and screaming :-) to do a photo shoot.  The sandals I bought six years ago from tony bianco and the pants from forever new .

This week I am linking up with Visible Monday  so go over and check out some other fantastic bloggers.

  2. Elsie, you are really funny and you still have your sense of humor. I see you are making hubby tap into his hidden talent of ‘paparazzi’. He is doing a great job taking these pictures.
