Floral Mini Dress

I remember the day I bought this dress as if it was yesterday, because when I first saw it, I thought this dress is such a loud dress, the floral patterns and color looked a little too much. It actually reminded me of Martin Lawrence' character in Big Mama's  house.  You know the loud, larger than life old woman, who has to do all the talking? Yep, that's this dress and that's the reason why I bought it.

You see, I am a quiet person, well I think I am, (I can hear some people coughing :-)) so I let my outfits do the shouting for me, while I go about my business in peace.

Thank you for visiting, hope I've put a smile on your face and please come again, you are always welcome.

I am sharing this style with Sacramento Amate of MIS PAPELICOS

  5. I like this print and the colors entailed in the print. The blue shade, in particular, is lovely. I like your choice of shoes. They match well with the print and they coordinate so well with the blue shade in the print. The print does not seem too loud to me; maybe because I like the colors. The leggings add another dimension to this look which works well because of the length of the dress. Thanks for being such a supporter of my blog, Elsie. I look forward to your next post. I hope you have a great week.

  6. I think the dress has a lovely antique quality about it. The pattern reminds me of the 1950s, but the cut of the dress is very 1960s Twiggy. The colors look pretty on you. I can see pairing this with many looks, including the simple idea of bare legs and a great flat sandal.

  15. Great combinations! I love an outfit with such precise attention to details ... patterns, colors and accessories all wonderfully complimentary. But casually, easily elegant. That's a talent I lack, that seeming ease (that I know comes from consideration!) Very chic!
But like "Big Mamma's"? Ummm. No. Must have been a very, very quiet day for you!

  18. I love it! What a gorgeous dress! I would wear that as a tunic or at least with leggings like you did as it looks pretty short and short dresses are usually a bit too short on me. I love the colours and pattern and it looks so pretty on you. You look very chic and I envy that you are in sandals. It's still too cold for that here!
