Double Denim with Necktie

I have always wondered if I could pull off casual men's wear since these days almost everything is unisex. It's the norm now to see people wearing, well, anything and in some cases (although very rarely) nothing at all and if you say its "art"well my friends you can even get away with it. That's  right, you will not be arrested for being a public nuisance, because it's "art". You can even get someone to splash a bit of paint on parts that are not to be exposed in public and you are good to go.  Brazilian carnival anyone?  In case you are wondering, this is not a warning dear friends, you will not be seeing that kind of "art"on this blog anytime soon.

We were invited to  lunch at a friends house today and I couldn't wait to rock my denim on denim look.  I added the necktie to make the outfit look more masculine.  I was very happy with the result.

Thank you for reading my blog.  If you have not already done so, follow me and let's do this together.

  3. You looks so cute in this outfit and very comfortable too! I love the pop of colour with the shoes and how the denim pieces are different shades so they complement each other. So relieved you are not doing Brazilian Carnival with flesh and paint.

  9. Somehow, I never feel brave enough to do a totally masculine outfit, dear Elsie...and I don't know why, because I always think it looks so cool on other women!! That tie and the red shoes are awesome finishing touches!! But hey...I did just feature my own denim-on-denim look (as you know!) so I'm going to say "great minds think alike" anyways!! ;D
