The Liebster Award is an award given to new bloggers to help them grow their following by introducing them to other bloggers and followers. Liebster is a German word which means, beloved, sweetheart or darling. The nominee is required to answer the questions asked by the person who nominated them and then nominate eleven other up and coming bloggers.
Since I could not find Nikolattina's questions, I will answer Jodie's below.
I originally named my blog Elsie and Family then decided to change the name. I had three names but could not decide which one to use so I did a post asking my followers to vote for the name which they liked best and The Cooking Wardrobe came up tops.

Hi Elsie! I can't find enough superlatives for your dress! It's better than fantastic and gorgeous! Orange and turquoise are two of my very favourite colours right now! As you may know, I've been sewing my wardrobe and I'm intrigued on the pattern alignment in your dress. Is is a single fabric, the flowes and circles? If so, it is such an ingenious way of laying out the fabric! I really want to give something like this a go. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeletePS I recently made a dress with a similar neckline. I find it to be really flattering!

And in my excitement about your dress, I forgot to comment on how nice it was to get to know you better through your Liebster Award questions! I hope you get to Hawaii and Coco Island!
DeleteHi Sue, thank you so much for your beautiful comment and yes I hope I get to go to those places. I had this dress custom made in Ghana last year and I have received lots of lovely compliments anytime I wear it. The circles were on both ends of the fabric and the flowers in the middle. The seamstress did wonders in cutting and placing the circles to flow downwards. I wish I could bluff my way in saying that I did it myself. lol.
DeleteGreat dress!! I love my food (and yours) too! jodie

Awesome and very figure flattering dress Elsie darling. Glad to learn more about you. We have a lot in common. I cry at the drop of a hat, I over compensate with my 'sorry, so sorry', and I'm an introvert. I just don't like red and blue that much hehe. You look stellar girl. http://fashionablyidu.blogspot.com/
