Red Mini Dress with Tartan Tights

This past week was such a busy week for me, I couldn't wait for the weekend.  Driving home after work on Friday knowing that I had two whole days to rest, I was over the moon.  It got even better when I arrived home and found out I didn't have to cook dinner.  Hubby had cooked proper comfort food, a Sierra Leonean savoury porridge/soup known as Ebeh.

Now let's talk about the outfit :).  If you have visited my blog before, you would know that I do not shy away from colors and patterns and with the commonwealth games going on at the moment in Glasgow, I thought it was appropriate time to bring out the tartan tights.  Why do just red and black when I can do red and tartan? Do you like patterned or colored tights?  Let's talk about it in the comments box.

Thank you so much for visiting and reading my blog.  I appreciate the time and effort that you've made to come over.  Leave a comment and I will return your visit. xoxo

  1. Isn't nice when our hubby's surprise us with cooking?...
I enjoy wearing patterned and colored tights during fall and winter. Yours look fun. When you first said tartan I was a little scared, but yours are subtle. Cute look Elsie.

  6. I love that dress on you and the color is so right. The only way I can wear a short dress is with tights and I gave up on wearing them years ago, but I like yours and want to get a pair.

Honestly you look super pretty and young (sorry I keep saying this, but knowing you have grown up kids you can't possibly be as young as you look!). You wear this red dress (fabulous) with remarkable elegance. You have gorgeous hair too! Have a glorious week my friend!
