A Lifestyle Blog With An African Twist

The Process

“Create your own style… let it be unique for yourself and yet identifiable for others.”

Hello and welcome to The Cooking Wardrobe.  What a difference a week makes.  Look who was busy bagging black last week and whinging about the cold weather.  Anyway, black is officially back on TCW and I am loving me some black woo hoo.

Before I go any further, how are you all doing my lovelies? Hope you are all well and winning at whatever you are doing.  Climbing new heights and achieving new goals.  I am doing just fine, thanks for asking.

Style like most things or even everything in this life goes through a process.  It takes time and effort and in my case a husband's patience to get it right or make it finally look the way you imagined it.

Not sure if its just me but I have noticed that the full length mirror and the camera do not speak the same language.  While miss mirror will tell you that everything is perfect, just go and have a good time with your posing, I get to the location and camera will give me one wink and I am heading straight back to the car to try outfit number two haha.

Today's post shows how I eventually got what I had imagined when putting this outfit together from start to finish, the whole process.

Thank you so much for stopping by and reading, don't be shy, let me know you were here by leaving a comment and I will come and party with you on your blog space.  Have a lovely week . xo

  16. Hello Elsie, first of all you look smokin hot! I agree it's a process to get all the blogging thing done. I have zero skills in photography so I can't imagine how the pictures will turn out! My husband isn't patient so I must rely on a friend :-) happy Sunday gorgeous! Baci,

  19. I know right, Sometimes the mirror play tricks on you and oh how I use to fight with my husband taking the pictures as he doesn't have any patience at all so I decided to keep the marriage together by not asking him to take the pictures any more and peace was reinstated in our home haha.. Lovely dress though.. Love you dear
