If Cleopatra Had An Afro - New Year's Eve Party Outfit

A new year has begun (yeah, I know you say with eyes rolling, move on).  Okay, I am moving on. How did you welcome the new year?  Were you sober? drunk? praying or partying or pratying (yes, add that to Elsie's dictionary of new words) and it means when you are partying and you stop to pray from 11:45pm to 12 midnight and continue partying after 12:05am.  The hubs is still recovering from serious boogie-woogie fever.   It was a costume party and as you can see from the photos I went as "Afro Cleopatra". I tell you, my Egyptian makeup was so on fleek, I swore not to look at the camera haha, just kidding.

The party was DA BOMB!!!  All sorts of costumes came to the party, some I recognized, some I didn't and some I thought were spliced between two characters.  Like my sister who wore a police woman's top and hat with handcuffs and pistol (fake please, before the police come knocking haha) over her jeans, so it was business from head to belly button and party from belly button to toes.

Not sure if I mentioned in my previous post that I had two long weeks off work.  Well, those two long weeks have come and gone and I am back at work tomorrow yay (just in case my boss sees this) oh damn (I hope they don't read any further) haha.

As always, thanks for stopping by and reading and don't forget to leave a comment so I can come over and say hi.  Stay blessed and have a lovely week!!!

  4. Hahahahahaaaaaa, that's my girl - pratying, love it. OOPS, Guilty! I usually repeatedly pray "thank you Jesus, thank you Lord" or the Grace. And at 12:01pm back to partying hahahaa. Stunning Fro Cleopatra look for sure. I love it and I can tell the m/u was on fleek. I'm dying about your boss. I had two weeks off and I'm returning to work tomorrow too. Pretty depressing if you ask me. January is such a low month after all the hype around the holidays now it's back to life as we know it. Crying emoji :(((((((, lol. Happy New Year darling. Btw hope the hubs has recovered, lolzz..

  5. The hubs does know how to have fun. I love the new word and the idea of praying while partying, or stop partying to pray. Hubby and I did just that. Well, it was only the two of us at the party. LOL! You look stunning , my dear friend ! !

You look amazing dear, I should come and visit you guys in Perth as you guys are having immense fun over there, here I was thinking Perth is the boring zone. Take care and I hope hubby is feeling better now and I know after the two weeks flown by you wanted to add another two more weeks on the holiday.
