Winter Basics - Black Jumper

Hello TCW readers, welcome, how have you been?  Hope all good.  So it is winter in my neck of the woods and I am not complaining.  Perth winter is like British summer and my friends in Tasmania tell me Perth never experiences it.   Well I'll tell you for sure that some mornings are pretty fresh and one has to be ready for such mornings.

I am a big casual outfit kind of girl and I love my jumpers during the winter months.  A black jumper is a must have basic in my wardrobe during winter.   I don't think one can go wrong with a black over-sized jumper over jeans and heels.  This is such a clean, classic, minimal look that is perfect for those coffee catch up with friends or just catching up with yourself.   Your own little me time, all by yourself, out and about, window shopping and stopping for lunch and enjoying the view in a nice restaurant.  We all need that sometimes.

I read somewhere that we should make an effort to date ourselves, go somewhere on our own without the kids or hubs to find ourselves and re-energize our minds so that we can have the inner peace and joy needed to be there for everyone else and I said oh yeah, I am in.  Have you been taking time out for yourself?  Let's talk about it in the comments box.

  1. Just my kind of outfit .. I do love whites, grays, black. Your sweater is so pretty with a hint of silver running through it (or so it looks from my computer screen) :-)
