How I Styled A Floral Ankara Skirt

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens - Ecclesiastes 3:1

Hello TCW family, long time no see.  How are we all doing?  Hope fantastic.  I have been doing great, thanks for asking.  I have had some free time lately so instead of sitting down and watching TV or just chilling after work, I have taken up sewing as a hobby and I can't have enough of it.  It's been so much fun meeting other people who go mainly to wind down from all the hustle and bustle and just talk ahem I mean sew 😁😁.   So my very first project was an apron.  You should have seen my excitement when I completed it, ahhhh small joys.
So I completed the apron and I felt like I could fly a plane, I am not exaggerating here at all, okay maybe just a little bit but I felt invincible, like I could do anything, anything whatsoever.  Who knew learning how to make gathers would release so much feel good hormones. Aha!!!   Well I had to do something with my new found small starter sewing skills and it just so happened that I had this ankara fabric at home and within two hours I had put together this skirt which I rocked to church today.  Yes, I couldn't wait to tell everyone that I made it myself.  I have attended four sessions so far and I am hoping the excitement will continue and I don't get bored with it anytime soon.   What are some fun things that you do?  Share in the comments box below.
As always, thanks for stopping by and reading, enjoy the rest of your week and stay blessed.  I'll see you at your blog space sometime during the week.
