A Lifestyle Blog With An African Twist

African Print Skirt and Headwrap

Hello and welcome to The Cooking Wardrobe.  Hope everyone is doing fine and seeing things correctly and properly.  I know I am, because I am sure the top I am wearing in this post is green but if you want to see it as cream or burgundy, that's not my wahala (problem) lol.  Most of us must have heard about the blue and black dress last week that some people saw as white and gold.   Pretty sure they still had their 3D glasses on, but who am I to judge? And apparently those of us who saw the true colors were more artistic and those that saw gold and black were more business minded (SHAAAAA) nothing is simple these days but I am okay with that because artistic or business minded, if you work hard, you will definitely reap the benefits.

Thank you for visiting and reading, don't be a stranger, let me know you were here by leaving a comment and I will pay you one too.  Enjoy the rest of your week.

  27. Hi Elsie!

You look beautiful in this outfit, I love the colour palette! I think African headwraps looks so impressive and artistic because of the wrapping technique! I also always felt women with this kind of headdress look so elegant and proud. It took me a while to figure out that it must be because you automatically adjust your posture to present the pretty headwrap to everyone.

Haha I read the discussions about THE dress too, it was so funny! I'm with you, it was definitely black and blue! ;)

  28. Hi Elsie :)

don´t know what looks more beautiful on you.. a modern fresh and young style or this African fabric outfits. Love them all and all this gorgeous pattern and colors. I will try this summer and wear some of this long colorful skirts and now I have a problem with the wraping part on the head. Can you show us how it works??

    have a good time

  29. Stunning is a suitable word! I am not sure which captures my attention more, your gorgeous legs or you beautiful headwrap. I have really slippery hair and that combined with the shape of my skull makes headwraps and scarves a near impossible option. They just pop right off. I think that when my hair is all grown out I can use the hairstyle to help keep on the scarf.

I love the lines of the tee shirt and long, lean skirt and having the printed fabric really keeps the eye moving up and down so you are just one long line of gorgeousness. xoxo
