Today's outfit consists of neutral colors but with animal prints in the hat and patterns in the skirt, I would say it's not so neutral after all.
Today's photo shoot was something else. From the conversation I had with my "photographer extraordinaire" it seems as if he is tired of seeing me pose, standing crossed legged as shown in the second photograph. Like any other Sunday, after church we would stop by one of the parks on our way home and I would strut my stuff as he clicks away. However today, after a few clicks he suddenly stopped and said, I think you need to look through some more magazines and practice your poses because you seem to be doing the same thing all the time. WHAT??????? Okay, I am calm now and yes he is still alive and well, I did not hit him with my shoe but I am not going to spend too much money on magazines either.
Thank you so much for visiting, let me know if you prefer the oxfords or wedges in the comments box below.

Isn't funny how our "photographers" can start to get picky?! You look adorable in this outfit. The cloche looks very 1940's inspired, and I really dig the shoes!
ReplyDeleteYou look adooorable in all your photos! This is the cutest little hat I've seen - such unexpected pattern for this shape.
ReplyDeleteI like changes and experiment with movement shots more lately. But it doesn't mean that I'll stop my cross leg pose, at least not yet. :)
This is amazing styling tips and details you have put together here, what is wrong with the photographer, just like my little sister who takes my phots told me today i need to pose like a model.

Ha!! I laughed when I read about your opinionated photographer (I'm assuming your husband?)...my own can also become quite bossy when we're out taking pictures!! Sometimes I appreciate the guidance; but sometimes, I think he might be taking his position just a tad too seriously!! ;) But who are we to complain, dear Elsie...it's so sweet to have someone that's really supportive of our blogging endeavours, don't you think?! As for your look here...I LOVE the subtle pattern mix of your cute cloche hat and the pretty skirt!! And although my first instinct was to say "go with the wedges," I think I actually like the oxfords more; they add a touch of sassy personality!! XO

Are you interested in preventing and curing cancer, Alzheimer's, high blood pressure, and many other common diseases using an inexpensive, natural indian spice called turmeric?
Take two teaspoons full of turmeric powder mixed with a cup of warm soy milk (or any kind of non-dairy milk that you'd like). Also eat 2 or 3 black peppercorns along with it, as the pepper helps your body absorb the turmeric better. You also need fat for the turmeric to be absorbed properly, which is why drinking turmeric mixed in water won't work. You have to drink it with milk or some fatty based liquid. Do this twice a day and you will start to feel amazing within a couple of weeks.
