A Lifestyle Blog With An African Twist

OOTD: Red, Black and White

So I got these dangerous looking wedges from Wittner and the first time I wore them, twenty-one (my son)  took one look at me and said "I think you are too old for those shoes, they would be more appropriate for someone in their twenties".  Really?  If his mission was to discourage me from wearing them, I'm sorry but that comment has actually done the opposite.  These wedges are so comfortable, it feels as if I am bare footed when walking in them.

Truth be told, never in my wildest dreams did I think age appropriate would include shoes as well.
What is age appropriate anyway?  I don't buy into that nonsense.  As long as one is well covered and happy with your reflection in the mirror, then go out and rock your style with confidence.

Thank you so much for coming over and reading.  Let me know your take on age appropriate dressing in the comments box and I will return your visit.

  12. Wake up and smell the coffee twenty-one, your mum LOOKS like a hot babe in her twenties. LOL you look great and gorgeous and those shoes are fantastic. Age appropriate is a concept I generally ignore because it's too damned irritating if I think about it. When I get dressed I consider what is Shawna appropriate. The criteria for that are: I like it, it fits, it feels like me.
