What I Wore to A Christmas Week Wedding: Mint and Fuschia

Hello and welcome to The Cooking Wardrobe.  We were invited to a wedding by a friend of the bride.  I know, I know, this is an interesting one.  We did not know the bride and groom however we decided to attend because we are very close to the person that invited us.  The second and probably the main reason why we attended is because both the bride and groom are new in Australia and do not have family around to celebrate with them so we were the "rent a crowd" attendees.  Boy,  I am so glad we went. The wedding was just beautiful.  No big fuss, simple but love was in the air.

The reception speeches by the couple was hilarious. We heard of how the groom started attending a particular church so he could muster up the courage to ask the bride out on a date, but luck wasn't on his side as the bride traveled to London the week after and he wasn't sure she was going to return to that church but he said he continued attending and hoping that she would.  So she returned after three months and the rest as they say is history.

Oh, it just so happened that she returned on the Sunday that he had wanted to call it quits because he was tired of waiting.  The bride, oh my gosh, what a cracker she is.  By the time she finished speaking we were all laughing our heads off.

Thank you so much for visiting and reading.  Let me know what you think of the outfit in the comments box and I will return your visit.
