A Lifestyle Blog With An African Twist

Share It and Make It Lighter

Hello and welcome to The Cooking Wardrobe.

Hope your week is going steady so far and you are loving this life that the good Lord has given you. I am just happy because I get to sleep in tomorrow morning as its a public holiday in my corner of the world.   They say its the queens birthday weekend so we can stay home and have high tea hehe or get up to no good if you like, as long as you are sober enough on Tuesday morning to make it to work.

All the pieces in this outfit except le pumps are repeat offenders to this blog.  Said top was seen here, le skirt here, les purse, earrings, sunnies and bracelet so many times, I need a whole post for just the heres and I swear they are not organs attached to my body, they are removable accessories.  Just thought I should make that clear before you all start thinking I am some sort of a style or fashion cyborg.

Moving on, my weekend was great, one of my sisters and her husband came over for a visit  and I am ashamed (wink, wink)  to say that we devoured so much food, it was disgraceful.  Like seriously who does that? I can however honestly say that every load becomes lighter when shared.  If you are carrying something that is bothering you, be it mentally or physically or in my case kitchenically (you can thank me later when it becomes a word hehe), share it, talk to someone you trust or pray and God will give you his grace.

Thank you for stopping by and reading.  Hey, don't go quietly, let me know you were here and I will come and visit you.  Enjoy the rest of your week.  xo

  12. Elsie! Pretty you in your sweet and simple combination ... excellent with heels and a sweet little clutch. You really have an eye for styling with accessories. Always just enough, and often a nice surprise that works like a charm.
Glad you had a great mini-holiday with family!
    Kitchenically? Great word. Culinarilly? Gastrocentrically?
